Ortolon took third in the pole vault at the Yeoman Fieldhouse on the campus of Houston over the weekend as the Javelinas made their second trip of the season to the venue. She needed only one attempts to clear the bar at 3.65m (11-11.75) to secure her spot on the podium for the Blue and Gold as she surpassed her previous season-best of 3.50m (11-5.75) set two weeks ago.

The junior from Edna, Texas, gathered her second accolade of the year as her result over the weekend went in as an NCAA Provisional Qualifying mar and currently tied for 28th on the Descending Order List for the indoor season.
