It is the second honor of the season for Ross as the Javelinas fell 33-6 to No. 21/20 A&M-Commerce in Lone Star Conference play this past weekend. The senior transfer from Kent State totaled 93 all-purpose yards in the loss, 30 coming on punt returns while the other 63 came on four catches in the contest.

Ross set up the lone score for the Hogs as he posted a 26-yard punt return to get the ball in Lion territory and added a 34-yard catch from redshirt junior Cade Dyal (Kerrville, Texas) on the very next play to push TAMUK into the red zone.

On the year, Ross owns 275 receiving yards and another 369 yards on returns. He tallied the first punt return touchdown for the Blue and Gold since 2009 in the 48-34 loss to Eastern New Mexico the week prior as he ran the ball back 48 yards to build a 31-17 cushion before the Greyhounds came back for the win.
