Aricela Alvarez won the long jump and placed second in the triple jump to get 18 points for the Javelinas at the annual Cactus Cup meet hosted by Texas A&M University-Kingsville... Alvarez, a senior from Bishop, won the long jump with a mark of 19-5.50 (5.93m), a foot better than the second best finisher... she then finished second with a mark of 37-9.50 (11.52m) in the triple jump.
