Javier Lopez hit a national qualifying mark in his first outdoor meet this season at the annual Cactus Cup hosted by Texas A&M University-Kingsville... Lopez ran 13.58 seconds in the men's 110 meter hurdles to set the best mark in Division II this season.

Lopez was also one of three Hogs to reach provisional qualifying marks in the 100-meter dash. Lopez ran a 10.32, which was one second away from a NCAA Division II national qualifying mark... he also competed on the 4x100m relay team.
