Lutalo Boyce capped off his stelar indoor season with a national title in the long jump at the NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships on Friday at Birmingham Crossplex. He won by tying his own school and Lone Star Conference record leap of 25-7.25 (7.80m). Boyce won by over a foot and posted the second best leap of the meet as well at 25-5.25 (7.75m). Among all the athletes, men and women, from the conference, he was the only one to win a national title.
