Autumn Williams announced the signing of Baytown native
Madi Gomez to a national letter of intent on Wednesday evening. Gomez becomes the second student-athlete to commit to the Javelinas, joining
Samantha Peña.
Gomez earned back-to-back District 21-6A doubles titles in 2013-14. A 2014 all-district honoree, she received the team's most outstanding player award in 2013 and 2014. She earned three varsity letters for Ross S. Sterling High School in Baytown, Texas.
She plans on majoring in biomedical sciences and aspires to become a pharmacist at Texas Children's Hospital.

Club: Played two seasons for BARC Bulldogs in Houston, Texas… USTA Junior Team Tennis Sectional champions and 2014 Texas State finalists.
