Don Pittman was on the Javelina football coaching staff for 18 seasons, spending three years as offensive coordinator with the remainder of the time spent as the running backs coach.

Pittman first played for Javelina Hall of Famer Ron Harms while Harms was the head coach at Adams State in Alamosa, Colo., and was on Harms’ staff as head coach of Javelina football. From there, Pittman went on to become the offensive coordinator for Albany State from 2002-09 and later joined the Fort Valley State staff as head coach from 2009-12.

Pittman completed his bachelor’s degree from Adams State and later finished his master’s degree at Texas A&M-Kingsville.
