Texas A&M-Kingsville Summer Athletic Camps

FROM THE DIRECTORS

Dear Campers and Parents,

We are pleased and excited to present the 2012 Javelina Athletic Camps.  Our popularity is due to several factors, most notably our commitment to providing great teaching.

Our camps are teaching, training and exposure. It’s hard work, fun and development—long-standing traditions of Javelina Athletic Camps. We are confident that it will not only prove to be the highlight of your summer, but also a springboard for bigger and better things in your athletic career.

See You This Summer!!

Javelina Coaching Staff

SUPERVISION AND DISCIPLINE

The Javelina Athletic Camps utilizes all team coaches and instructors as 24-hour camp and dormitory supervisors. We simply require that all of our campers have a desire to learn, a will to compete, and sportsmanship that is both clean and healthy. Our staff will not tolerate any camper who fails to conduct himself in an appropriate manner. The Javelina Athletic Camps operate within a community of trust and a simple code of honor in which campers will not lie, cheat or steal.

The Javelina Athletic Camps reserve the right to dismiss any camper for misconduct.

PROCEDURE TO ENROLL

Print and complete the attached application,  waiver and medical clearance forms, answering ALL questions completely and legibly. Mail these forms (i.e. Application, Waiver & Medical) (front and back) and your camp tuition payment. Upon receiving your completed application and tuition payment, we will forward, within 21 days, a letter of confirmation guaranteeing your reservation, including: what to bring, camp rules, and other specific reporting instructions.

BUILDING BIG LEAGUE CITIZENS

Look to the future! It’s easy to see that parents must begin at an early age to prepare their son/daughter emotionally, intellectually, and physically to insure his/her place in the complex world of the future.

A camp experience is an important step toward this goal. In addition to athletics, our camps strive to develop your son/daughter in the following areas:

• Self-confidence

• Self-discipline

• Desire to improve

• Physical conditioning

• Courage in competitive situations

SHOP & COMPARE

We urge you to shop and compare camps because selecting a camp for your child deserves more attention than purchasing any tangible product. Compare our rates, excellent facilities, outstanding instructors, comprehensive format, detailed evaluation system, and small camper-to-coach ratio. Above all, select a camp with personnel committed to educating your child. We are confident that you will find our camp will provide more for your money than others, and that it will also be the highlight of your son’s of daughter's summer.
