HOUSTON, Texas (Men's Basketball) – Texas A&M University-Kingsville men's basketball received some excellent news early Saturday morning as former four-year letterman
Remi Yusuf signed with the Houston Rockets.
The 6-4 guard was one of four signees for the Rockets and he will join the team following a long international career. Yusuf averaged 13.45 points per game in a Javelina uniform from 2002-07 (sat out 2004-05) and tallied 1,507 career points, becoming the 20
th player in school history to surpass the 1,000-point plateau.
He capped his TAMUK career third on the all-time games played list, second on the steals chart (178) and fifth on the scoring list.
Yusuf is on the top 10 all-time in points, assists, rebounds, steals, minutes, field goals and free throws on both the single season and career record books.
