Jordan Stack joined the Javelina coaching staff in 2012 and assists with the defensive backs as well as special teams.

Previously, Stack was a quality control coach for the Omaha Nighthawks of the United Football League. There he assisted with the defensive backs under current USC defensive backs coach Marvin Sanders; a unit that produced UFL Defensive MVP Stuart Schweigert. He also worked directly under former NFL defensive coordinator Tom Olivadotti as his quality control and assisted in all aspects of special teams for the Nighthawks, also as quality control. In addition to his coaching duties, Stack worked under Nighthawks Head Coach, and former TD Ameritrade CEO, Joe Moglia, as the Assistant Chief of Staff for the organization.

As an undergraduate, Stack worked for the athletics department at the University of Maryland. He was a strength coach for the Terrapins for 2.5 years where he worked under Head Strength Coach Dwight Galt. He worked in all recruiting and practice efforts for the Terps under Head Coach Ralph Friedgen and Head-Coach-in-Waiting James Franklin. During the 2010 season, Stack was the Special Teams Quality Control for the Terps under Special Teams Coordinator Charles Bankins, where their average punt return ranked #3 nationally and their five blocked kicks led the ACC.

Stack earned his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiological Sciences in 2010 from the University of Maryland-College Park with a 3.6 GPA, and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Kinesiology.
