Members of the Javelina men's basketball team participated in the H-E-B Literacy Program.


Nov. 29, 2011 - Kingsville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center
A group of Javelina student-athletes played games and interacted with the residents at the Kingsville Nursing and Rehab Center.

The Javelina SAAC group helped clean up L.E. Ramey Golf Course.


Nov. 17, 2011 - Canned Good Collection
The Javelinas had a food scavenger hunt and collected 450 pounds of canned goods to give to the Samaritan Food Pantry of Kingsville.

The Javelina softball team was just one of a number of teams that helped out at Kingsville's Make A Difference Day activities.


Oct. 31, 2011 - Men's Basketball at the Boy's and Girl's Club
Senior Forward, Robert Williams helps a ghost dunk at the Boys and Girls Club of Kingsville. Robert along with other TAMUK men’s basketball members helped out at the Boys and Girls Club of Kingsville’s annual Halloween Fest. The night was full of fun and included a haunted house, bouncy castle, and many other prizes and games.

Michelle Oliver (l) and April Atterberry (r), wives of Javelina athletic director Ken Oliver and head football coach Bo Atterberry hosted an X's and O's Football Clinic for women with proceeds going to the Women's Shelter of South Texas-Kingsville Outreach Office.  A spokeswoman, Jessica Hernandez (middle), delivered a brief overview of the shelter.
